Stunning Ethiopian Welo opal in tarnish resistant Argentium silver, surrounded by one of my favorite garnet imitation stones. The opal is approximately 8mm in diameter, and is surrounded by 16, 2mm faceted garnet gemstones, all made and set by me.
Measurements:
18.4mm (including bail) x 15.2mm (x4.34 mm thick)
Stamped HVJ AS 940on the back for metal purity: Argentium Silver 94% pure. Just under 20 inches total length, including 2 inch extension chain. Lobster clasp measures 9mm x 5mm.
1.4mm 925 sterling silver chain, oxidized (darkened) and covered with "Renaissance" compound to keep the chain dark, diamond curb chain 18 inch plus a 2 inch extension totaling approximately 20 inches. HVJ 925 marking by extension chain to mark curb chain quality, 92.5% sterling silver.

I made it myself using Argentium silver shot (https://www.riogrande.com/product/argentium-940-pro-silver-casting-grain/103000GP/?code=103000) and melting it into the shapes needed, then soldered, polished, set stones, all in my home studio in AZ.
Comes with yellow polishing cloth, impregnated with polishing compound to keep your pendant shining.

It is normal for natural gemstones to have some pits or inclusions. Please be gentle with your handmade jewelry and gemstones. They're durable but not indestructible.
